Eric J. Savitz is associate editor for technology at Barron’s, where he writes the magazine’s Tech Trader column and leads the publication’s coverage of technology and Silicon Valley. Eric has worked for Barron’s for more than 20 years spread over three different periods, returning to the publication in 2019 after a 9-year absence. He’s also worked for Forbes, The Industry Standard, Smart Money, Brunswick Group and Roku. Based in the Bay Area since 1995, Eric is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
